Ingredients:
2 ½ Cups bran 2 cups sour milk
1 ½ cups flour 2 eggs
1 ½ cups sugar 3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt ½ cup oil
Add to taste: honey (about 1/4 cup), dried fruit, chocolate chips or raisins
Mix dry ingredients together. Add the liquid and mix together with the dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips. dry fruit, raisins and/ or honey. Bake at 350ºF in a preheated oven for 15 minutes in greased muffin tins. Batter will keep for 15 days in the refrigerator, but make sure to keep tightly covered.
Makes 24 muffins.
